⛑ Since February 2024, with dozens of humanitarian missions to Ukraine we’ve delivered millions of Euros worth of aid – both to civilians and Ukraine’s defenders on the front line. Simultaneously we’ve supported thousands of women and children seeking shelter in Poland.

🪖Now, finally, we found a way to also help the heroes who lost the most fighting for our freedom – their limbs. Thanks to a partnership with Aether Biomedical – a Polish producer of the world’s most impressive bionic hand prosthesis – we’re now equipping Ukrainian veterans with the Zeus hand, letting them finally return to normal life (and for the craziest ones – even to the frontlines!).

🦾As part of our latest humanitarian mission we’ve visited a number of clinics throughout Ukraine – including UNBROKEN Ukraine and Superhumans Center – showcasing and fitting this amazing device. With our help we hope the Zeus will soon be available to any veteran amputee – no matter their financial situation.

🏥As with every mission of ours, also this time we’ve delivered other aid – 5 pallets of COVID tests for the citizens of Khmielnicky, a couple dozen boxes of medical equipment for hospitals and medics on the frontline, as well as bulletproof vests kindly donated by WORKS 11 & drone equipment for Polish and international volunteers fighting in the Donbas – more on that soon!

🤝To support our endeavour we’ve held some exceptional, high-level meetings, including with Poland’s representatives to Ukraine: Ambassador Piotr Łukasiewicz and Vice-Consul mateusz natkowski, both of whom expressed great enthusiasm and pledged support for our project to help veterans.

🎖 Unexpectedly, in recognition of this project, ODF’s team, Martin Mycielski & Natalia Melnychenko, as well as our volunteers Linda Wilkinson & Grzegorz Madejski and Aether’s Dhruv Agrawal & Piotr Krukowski, were honoured with the “Power of Mercy” decorations from Deputies of Ukraine’s parliament for our input in the area of healthcare. A premature accolade which we will try hard to earn!

PS. A special thanks to WORKS 11 for their logistics support of this mission! 🚚💪
