Od dnia 3 czerwca 2024 roku, studenci Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego postanowili wyrazić swoją solidarność z ludnością cywilną Strefy Gazy oraz przedstawili Panu i zarządzanej przez Pana uczelni jasne oraz konkretne żądania. Od tamtego momentu wielokrotnie zapraszali Pana do rozpoczęcia rozmów i negocjacji, które mogłyby doprowadzić do satysfakcjonującego dla obu stron porozumienia. Niestety, żadne z tych zaproszeń nie zostało przez Pana przyjęte.
Decyzja ta budzi nasze głębokie niezrozumienie, ponieważ jest sprzeczna z etycznymi standardami i fundamentalnymi wartościami, którymi powinna kierować się Akademia – rzekomo będąca miejscem dialogu oraz rzeczowej dyskusji.
W trosce o studentów, całą wspólnotę Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego oraz wartości, jakie powinna reprezentować Akademia, wzywamy Pana do natychmiastowego rozpoczęcia negocjacji z protestującymi studentami okupującymi budynek przy ul. Szewskiej 50/51.
ENG: Since June 3, 2024, students of the University of Wrocław have decided to express their solidarity with the civilian population of the Gaza Strip and have presented you and the University under your administration with clear and specific demands. Since that time, they have repeatedly invited you to initiate talks and negotiations that could lead to a mutually satisfactory agreement. Unfortunately, none of these invitations have been accepted by you.
This decision deeply perplexes us, as it is contrary to the ethical standards and fundamental values that the Academy should uphold—supposedly a place of dialogue and substantive discussion. In the interest of the students, the entire community of the University of Wrocław, and the values that the Academy should represent, we urge you to immediately begin negotiations with the protesting students occupying the building at 50/51 Szewska Street.
